Post by Mike EasterPost by Some GuyAny idea what the machine name or FQDN id.google.ca is for?
Please explain why this is of any interest to you. The question
asking/ information seeking/ business shouldn't be a one-way street.
I was monitoring my router's in-bound and out-bound logs while watching
the interaction between uTorrent and Peer Guardian. At some point I
also called up a web page that performed an access to id.google.ca
(sometimes my router puts an fqdn in the log in place of an actual IP
address - not sure why / how it does that).
Just wondering what function id.google.ca was designed to perform.
Seems related to id.l.google.com and i.google.com.
